Genelia plays Princess role in ‘Urumi’ movie. This ‘Urumi’ movie is directed by ace Cinematographer turned filmmaker Santosh Sivan. ‘Urumi’ stars Genelia and Prithviraj in the lead pair. ‘Urumi’ movie is all about the story took place way back in 15th Century about who killed Vasco De Gama. ‘Urumi’ logo will be launched on 10th July and the movie will be released in the month of August.
Santosh Sivan has initiated this unique storyline 'Urumi’ and says that Genelia will be shown in a different dimension. On the other hand, Prithviraj, who received critical appreciation for his recent release Mani Ratnam’s ‘Raavan’, is also a unique choice. Urumi means an eight feet long slim sword, which is used in Kalaripayattu martial arts in Kerala.
