Actress Vijayalakshmi, who shot to limelight playing one of the lead roles in Friends, lodged a complaint on Wednesday with the Chennai city police commissioner J K Tripathy levelling allegations of exploitation against director and Naam Tamilar Iyakkam chief coordinator Seeman. According to police sources, Vijayalakshmi said that she knew Seeman personally as a well-known director and a friend.
Meanwhile, Seeman had denied all the allegations as false. Speaking on his behalf, his counsel said, ' Vijayalakshmi had met him once asking his help for her sister's divorce. They further said that it was an attempt top tarnish his image in the public for he has been relentlessly voicing for the cause of Lankan Tamils.
