Three for Friday

Three Kannada films are hitting the screen this Friday April 15 as the holiday mood has set in for summer for schools and colleges in Karnataka.

The highly talked of the three films is ‘Dandam Dashagunam’ a remake of ‘Khaka Khana’. Chiranjeevi Sarja as a cop performing the role of what Suriya top Tamil actor had done. Ramya plays the teacher in this film. This is the film that was in controversy on money matters between Ramya and producer A Ganesh.

In fact controversy of ‘Dandam Dashagunam’ has helped the release of Ramya film ‘Sanju Weds Geetha’ that was released on 1st April. How far the success of ‘Sanju Weds Geetha’ is going to help ‘Dandam Dashagunam’ is curiously awaited.

‘Dandam Dashagunam’ by Om Sri Chamundeswari films produced by A Ganesh and directed by remake specialist director K Madesh. V Harikrishna has scored the music and Manohar is the cameraman. Ravishanker third in a row is the trouble shooter after ‘Kote and Kempe Gowda’. Tilak, Tharakesh Patel, Gazar Khan, Lakshmi Hegde, Sunil and others are in the cast of ‘DD’.

The second important film of the week is ‘Ellallu Neene Nannallu Neene’ by Dubai based business tycoon Frank Fernandez starring his son Rohith with Supritha as heroine.

The state award winning film director Dr Richard Castellino directed this film with Mallikarjun cinematography and Vijayabharathi music. Ninasam Ashwath, Namratha Hegde, Akshay and others are in the cast.

The third film of the week ‘Neneyuve Ninna’ that was not in the news at all is hitting the screens in GSB Movie banner. Basavaraju is the producer and S Umesh has directed this film starring Karunakar, Naveen Krishna, Ranjitha, Jahnavi, Shobaraj, Sharat Lohitashva are in the cast.
