The magnificent personality on off the screen Dr rajakumar ‘Annavru’ 5th death anniversary was held in Bangalore and other parts of Karnataka.
The fans remembered the day April 12, 2006 – the day Dr Rajakumar breathed last in the afternoon at Sadashivanagar residence (that is now is demolished and reconstruction is going on). A six months baby naming ceremony as ‘Muthuraj’ was notable at the Dr Rajakumar memorial at Kanteerava studios in Bangalore. Couple from Mahalakshmi Layout Hemanth and Lalitha are ardent followers of Dr Rajakumar, a physically handicap Ashok came all the way from Bagalkot to visit Dr Rajakumar Memorial.
The favorite dishes liked by Dr Rajakumar were place d all around the ‘Samadhi’ with fruits, coconuts etc. Dr Rajakumar all family members were present except Smt Parvathamma Rajakumar because of ill health. Shivarajakumar, Raghavendra Rajakumar, Puneeth Rajakumar jointly offered flower petals and they were joined by daughters, daughter in laws, close relatives, grand children of Dr Rajakumar and others.
Raghavendra Rajakumar recited ‘Sri Narayana Stuthi’ and later said ‘Sri Rama Navami’ was held in the house when Appaji was living. It was also like festival in the house with ‘Panaka and Kosambari’. My father wished to distribute it to guests on this festival day.
Shivarajakumar looking at the various works in the progress at two and half acres of his father memorial hoped that it will be completed in six months of time.
I remember my father everyday and there is no feel that he is no more. He haunts me so much. For his caliber and simplicity anything done is very less. I would release the book on my father ‘Person behind Personalities’ in this June stated the No.1 star of Kannada cinema super power star Puneeth Rajakumar.
