The prestigious audio house of Karnataka with branches in Andhra Pradesh and Tamil Nadu Lahari Recording Company one of the directors G Thulsiram Naidu alias Velu was kidnapped late on Wednesday night after he was coming out attending the ‘Big 92.7 FM’ awards evening.
A group of five persons in which Srinivas brother of ‘Olave Mandhara’ producer Govindaraju a councilor barged into the vehicle of Velu pushed the driver Mukunda of Velu’s Innova vehicle. As Mukund also forcibly entered the driver of the kidnap gang took the seat and all were inside the Innova that started in front of Dr Ambedkar Bhavan. Velu was threatened and abused for not seeing the audio ‘Olave Mandhara’ and not paying the amount to the producer.
When the vehicle came near Indian Express office Velu called up his brother G Manohar Naidu and immediately Bengaluru police headed by BB Ashok Kumar took it seriously. Calling up on Velu mobile the super cop asked the kidnappers to immediately release Velu.
Afraid of one such call the five fled away leaving Velu and driver Mukund. ‘I am in shock and shattered’ with this kind of kidnap says Velu.
B.Govindaraju producer of ‘Olave Mandhara’ a councilor from Nagavara area outskirts of Bangalore says my brother had spoken to Velu is true. But he has not kidnapped. This is Velu’s drama says B Govindaraju.
If that is the drama of Velu why should super cop BB Ashok Kumar intervene and confirm that he has received the phone call Velu that was in tensed mood?
